This one goes out to those who love the work of Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, who says his studio’s goal is to “bring back humanity in the technocratic world of design, and usher in the contemporary renaissance of humanism.” That love of craft, and respect for natural materials is so evident in the contemporary outdoor furniture line- the Maui Collection-Wanders did for Harbour.
Sydney, Australia-based Harbour has been hand-making luxury outdoor furniture since 1976. Given the country’s harsh climate, they know a thing or two about creating outdoor pieces that are both beautiful and durable. Their signature is a passion for classic design and architectural detail, along with a commitment to using long-lasting materials like powder-coated aluminum and mildew-resistant upholstery.
