I only spent four chilly April days in Stockholm – and it was several years ago, during a press trip to the town where Ikea was founded. But that was enough to make me fall in love with it. Sweden’s capital, Stockholm is actually 14 islands joined by more than 50 bridges. It sits on the banks of the archipelago where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea.
